For the past five years now, I have assisted my mother in the caring for my grandmother who has dementia and other senior-related problems. As a senior at American University, I would really like the opportunity to help and get to know senior citizens in the DC area who need assistance on a daily basis. Because I'm studying another field at AU, I don't have much paid experience in senior care. However, I do have a lot of personal experience, and I am a very responsible and capable of sitting with, taking care of, and work with elderly people.
